VJ Adrenochrome

about

Adrenochrome is outsider art.
Typically, those labeled as outsider artists have little or no contact with the mainstream art world or art institutions. In many cases, their work is discovered only after their deaths. Often, outsider art illustrates extreme mental states, unconventional ideas, or elaborate fantasy worlds.

Getting his start in the small yet refined electronic music scene of Maine, VJ Adrenochrome quickly made a name for himself after discovering his talent for working with video and technology. He has performed over 300 times alongside thousands of musical acts at venues such as: Burning Man, Peppermill Casino, Grand Sierra Reno, Comcast Center, Jones Beach Nikon Amphitheater, Majestic Colonial Resort in the Dominican Republic, Club Therapy, Camp Bisco, Webster Hall, The Middle East (boston), the DCU Center, Port City Music Hall, Phoenix Landing, Wonderbar, and so many more.

Conventional is not a word to describe this VJ. His style combines intensely psychedelic video mixes with custom-built equipment and a philosophy that pushes the envelope on what is possible. Video mapping has become second nature to him and using these techniques he enjoys making people forget that projectors are involved; immersing them into thought-provoking works of art that are synchronized with what they are hearing and feeling.

High standards and a mountain of experience have shaped Adrenochrome into a video mixing mad scientist. You will never be disappointed visually while he is in pixel-domination mode.
